As a kid, I wanted to be an astronaut. I even had a full-wall mural of the Space Shuttle Columbia in my room, fueling my dream of going to space! But after watching a History Channel special on Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom when I was 13, I decided to shift my focus from launching rockets to launching roller coasters, which ultimately led to my choice to study mechanical engineering at Brigham Young University. Same math and science, different application!

My career thus far has led me to several successful positions with world-class theme park design companies, with a focus on animatronic figures and design. As such, I have learned I love working with animatronic/mechatronic systems, and enjoy the aspect of design within engineering. I hope to find a mechanical engineering role in the near future that allows me to learn and grow as an engineer and solve real problems while working to make the world a better place.

In addition to growing as an engineer, I enjoy extracurricular activities including CrossFit, visiting theme parks, 3D animation, being outdoors, traveling and spending time with family and friends while eating good food.
